PT Omron Manufacturing Of Indonesia is a joint venture company between PT Pioneer Trading CO. Ltd. (Indonesia) and the Management Center of Asia Pacific Pte. Ltd.(Singapore) which was established on February 27, 1992, began operating on April 1, 1993 and was inaugurated by the Minister of Industry on September 2, 1993. OMRON has a land area of 77,573 m² located in the East Jakarta Industrial Park (EJIP) Industrial Area Plot 5C, South of Cikarang, Bekasi Regency, West Java.

As a world leader in automation control, OMRON has a worldwide global network covers five regions : Europe, North and South America, Japan, Greater China, and the Asia Pacific. Some automation control systems had been produced by OMRON under the supervision of the division of Omron Corporation Japan.

Relays, Switches, Automation Systems, Control Components (digital panel indicators, timers, etc.), Safety Components (safety sensors, safety door switches, etc.) and Sensors (fiber, photoelectric, proximity, etc.) are the products of OMRON. These products will be marketed domestically and exported abroad. OMRON also has various departments to support the products produced, one of which is the PMD (Part Manufacture Division) department which produces stamping and molding products in the form of finished goods or in the form of parts. The parts from the process will be sent to the Switch and Relay department to be assembled into electronic component products.
